Akshay Kumar urges people to save India's heritage sites

Actor Akshay Kumar, who is in Hyderabad to promote his forthcoming film Boss, visited famous heritage site Charminar. He has appealed to the countrymen to save the rich cultural heritage of the nation.

After looking at the graffiti-filled walls of the monument, the actor appealed to people to save heritage sites from such destruction, said a source close to the Khiladi star.
He urged people to talk to each other through SMS, calls or letters and to avoid writing on the walls. He believes it is everyone's duty to preserve these monuments.
Boss, directed by Anthony D'souza, also stars Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari, Danny Denzongpa, Ronit Roy and Johnny Lever. It is releasing on October 16.
