Watching Lootera has left an impact on young actress Alia Bhatt, who now wants to feature in a period film. She is not lured by the idea just for the story, but also for the kind of style and look that it promises.
"I would, at least once in my career, love to do a period film. I think a period film is not only very emotional and very dramatic, the kind of fashion you get to do is outstanding," said the 20-year-old.
"It's ostentatious, beautiful, vibrant and everything is detailed. So I would love to do a period film, not only for the role, but also for the fashion," she added.
Alia even had a special word of mention for the recently released Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh-starrer Lootera, the story of which is set in 1950s.
"Of course, I love Lootera. If you see, Lootera is very beautiful. Every scene is delicate and yet stands out in your face," said Alia.
Talking about the kind of films she wants to do in her career, Alia said: "I have an idea of the different kind of films I want to do. I just want to do lots of films and everything should be different, something that challenges me and caters to the need of the audience as well."
Alia has finished shooting for Imtiaz Ali's Highway with Randeep Hooda. She is currenly shooting for 2 States with Arjun Kapoor.
