Anurag Kashyap returns to Cannes Director's Fortnight with Ugly

This is the second time Anurag Kashyap’s film is being screened at the Directors' Fortnight. Last year Anurag’s two-part revenge saga Gangs of Wasseypur was screened in the same category.

  • Dabba will also compete for the Camera d'Or, which recognises the best first feature film presented in any of the Cannes' selections.
  • Monsoon Shootout by Amit Kumar again stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is a thriller.
