New Delhi: Actress Anushka Sharma has received a notice from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for installing an electrical junction box in the common passage area of her building, reported news agency PTI. Anushka, who resides on the twentieth floor of the Badrinath Tower, a building located in Mumbai's Versova, allegedly made the installation without the approval of the corporation body. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has notified the actress to remove the electrical box following a complaint lodged by another resident of Badrinath Tower, reported PTI. Anushka Sharma's spokesperson has however, denied having made the installation illegally and highlighted "There is nothing illegal about any construction or installation," reported PTI.

The notice was however, not addressed to Anushka Sharma directly but was sent to the owners of flat numbers 2001 and 2002, which are owned by the Phillauri star, reported PTI. The news agency also reported that Anushka received the notice on April 6, which also states that necessary legal action will be taken against the actress if failed to follow as instructed.

Anushka's spokesperson also added that the actress owns three flats in the building and that all the permission works are in order. "The actress owns three flats on the 20th floor and all the permissions since 2013 are in place. Anushka and her family are law abiding and responsible citizens and wouldn't do anything to cause inconvenience or harm to anyone," PTI quoted Anushka's spokesperson as saying in a statement.

Anushka Sharma was last seen playing a ghost bride in Anshai Lal's Phillauri and will next be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Imtiaz Ali's yet-untitled film. Anushka Sharma also owns production company Clean Slate Films, which has produced NH10 and Phillauri so far.
