Anushka Sharma on Her Choice of Films and 'Huge Success'

New Delhi: She been a part of blockbuster films like PK and Sultan, but Anushka Sharma said that being seen as a versatile actress is true success.

Anushka, who ventured into Bollywood in 2008 has carved a niche for herself and has worked top filmmakers like Aditya Chopra, Yash Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar and will now be seen in Imtiaz Ali's next. She also featured in newcomer Navdeep Singh's dark film NH10 and has experimented with her roles.

The 28-year-old said that her interest in these directors is because they all are from different schools of thoughts.

"All their films are very different. I think if you, as an actor, can convince such directors, who are different from one another, that you can be convincing part in their film. I think that for me is a huge success because that just shows that everyone sees you as a versatile actor," Anushka told IANS.

Asked if she considers working with big names important, she said: "I feel like it is for the work they do. For me, it's not like I am going to look at the money the director's films have made before. For me, it is about working with the director whose work I have admired."

The Dil Dhadakne Do actress said that she once made a list of directors she wanted to work with and at present she is happy to have worked with most of the names.

"Today I am happy to see that I managed to strike most of the names and now I am working with Imtiaz Ali, who is another person I was really looking forward to working with," she said.

Anushka will be seen in Karan's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which also features actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor. She will also be seen in Phillauri, an upcoming romantic comedy film also produced by her and directed by Anshai Lal.
