Barely a month old, 2016 has begun on a sour note for several celebrity couples who called it quits. The rapidly lengthening list named actors Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora who, the tabloid press reported, were divorcing after being married over 16 years.
Arbaaz, 48, has now posted a response to the reports - with a little help from popular app Dubsmash and Rajesh Khanna's song

Malaika and Arbaaz met while shooting an advertisement and married in 1999. They are parents to 13-year-old son Arhaan. Malaika has been featured in item songs in films like Dabangg, Dabangg 2 and Dolly Ki Doli, produced by Arbaaz, who is superstar Salman Khan's brother.
