Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha's son Kussh married NRI Taruna Agarwal in a very private ceremony attended by select Bollywood guests and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mr Modi, who attended the pheras, fed sweets to Shatrughan Sinha while the groom's sister, actress Sonakshi Sinha, who had invited him for the wedding along with her parents earlier this month, thanked him on Twitter.
Sonakshi, who looked gorgeous in a mauve lehenga-choli, pearls and a kundan mang-tika, also posted a picture with Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, Tina Ambani and Poonam Dhillon, looking elegant in their wedding finery.
While Jaya Bachchan mingled with women, Big B was spotted in conversation with Shaan co-star Shatrughan Sinha, a photograph captioned by Sonakshi as, "Salaamat rahe dostaana aapka! Thank u @SrBachchan uncle and jaya aunty for the warmth and happiness."
Sonakshi and her father Shatrughan Sinha were the picture of happiness.
Hema Malini, who worked with Shatrughan Sinha in movies such as Aandhi-Toofan, Hiraasat, Qaidi, Dostana and Naseeb, was perhaps the most enthusiastic of all the baraatis and shared plenty of pictures from the wedding on Twitter.
Here she poses with Sonakshi, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha.
