Hrithik and Katrina at the launch of the title track of Bang Bang
With barely two weeks to go for its release, Bang Bang is becoming increasingly conspicuous for the virtual lack of any buzz surrounding it. It may be a case of the makers saving the best for the last or merely a case of its two stars, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, acting coy and shying away from the prodding about their personal lives.
Leading lady Katrina Kaif, hitherto notoriously secretive about her alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor, has gone on record during the publicity of this film to admit that he is a huge part of her life. If anything will guarantee a headline ahead of the release of the film, it will be an update on the alleged romance between them.
Bang Bang is just two weeks short of release and so far, the only song from the film that has created an impact has been Tu Meri.
But as the director of the film, Sidharth Anand, probably realises, it takes a lot more than a tune to make a hit at the box office.
