It appears that 2016's feuding brothers Ram Lakhan may not be played by any of the names that have been bandied around ever since the film was announced in August 2014. Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor have been eclipsed by two actors who now lead the list of likelies - Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan.
Filmfare reports that Hrithik and Abhishek are now the probables for Lakhan and Ram respectively. If true, they will reunite after 2006 hit

The remake of the Subhash Ghai-directed 1989 hit will be made jointly by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Rohit Shetty and Mr Ghai's Mukta Arts. KJo announced the impending film last year:
