Bollywood Actor Emraan Hashmi has begun shooting for
Azhar, which is a biopic, based on the life of former Indian cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin.
The
Hamari Adhuri Kahani actor shared the news on Twitter along with a picture of a clapboard, and also asked his fans for their good wishes. Emraan tweeted:
Azhar is being directed by Anthony D'Souza and is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Sneha Rajani under their banners Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures, respectively.
The movie will trace the journey of Azharuddin's career and personal life, which have witnessed several ups and downs.
Azhar is slated to release on May 13, 2016.
