Actress Richa Chadha said that Masaan will always be special for her, as she evolved as a person with the movie.
"Masaan will always be a special film for me. It changed me as a person, and gave me a circle of friends that I not only adore but respect too," Richa said in a statement.
Masaan follows the stories of four people from a small town -- Varanasi -- and how they fit into moralities, and how pre-set notions of society change their life. The film also touches upon issues like caste stereotypes and premarital sex.
Richa plays Devi - a small-town girl fighting taboos around sex in Masaan, which released last year.
Masaan also starred Shweta Tripathi and Vicky Kaushal.
Richa said that she is glad she did the movie.
"It also made me witness the moment of a lifetime, where we experienced a five-minute long standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival," she said.
