"What a throwback! Barely 18 yrs old with No idea that these many years later I'd still be representing India.. #blessed #grateful," wrote Priyanka Chopra on Instagram. Priyanka made her debut on television last year with the American show Quantico. She is the first Indian to be cast in a starring role on an American series

Actress Priyanka Chopra was barely 18 when she won the Miss World pageant in 2000 and on Saturday, the 34-year-old actress shared a throwback picture of herself from the competition.
Along with the picture, Priyanka wrote that she had no idea back then that she would 'still be representing India.'

Priyanka made her debut on television last year with the American show Quantico. She is the first Indian to be cast in a starring role on an American series. Priyanka's performance as Alex Parrish, an FBI recruit who finds herself labelled a co-conspirator in one the biggest terrorist attacks on American soil since 9/11, was warmly welcomed in most reviews and also by her friends and colleagues in Bollywood.
That's not enough. Priyanka will soon make her debut in Hollywood with Dwayne Johnson's Baywatch. She plays main antagonist Victoria Leeds in the long-awaited film version of the iconic TV series. Dwayne Johnson heads the lifeguard squad as Mitch Buchannon, the character originally played by David Hasselhoff, who will make a special appearance with fellow alumnus Pamela Anderson. Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch will release on May 19, 2017.
Priyanka Chopra made her debut in Bollywood in 2003 with The Hero: Love Story of a Spy and Andaaz. She is the star of films like Aitraaz, Bluffmaster!, Krrish, Don, Agneepath and Mary Kom. In 2008, she won the National Award for Fashion.
In Bollywood, she was last seen in Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal.
