The three-minute clip features Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, believed to be a cable operator and movie buff, who finds himself and his family unwittingly dragged into a murder mystery. He is pitted against Tabu, who plays a cop investigating the murder of her own son. Actress Shriya Saran plays Ajay Devgn's wife.

Drishyam, a remake of the 2013 Malayalam thriller of the same name, is scheduled to hit screens on July 31 this year.
