In an interview to IANS, when the 50-year-old actor was asked about his children joining the film industry, he said: "None of them has jumped (the bandwagon) and said that they want to start acting. They come to my sets to understand what filmmaking is about because it's time for them to get interested. If they get interested, then good, but if they don't, that's even better."
Shah Rukh, however, also told PTI: "I think, whichever director will want to make a film on me, will decide who he wants to cast. I can't be that self-obsessed that I go on deciding who should play me, though Aryan and AbRam could be the choice."
Shah Rukh and Gauri married in 1991 and are also proud parents to AbRam, who turns three this month.
Shah Rukh was last seen in Fan and his upcoming movies are Raees and a Gauri Shinde-directed film, co-starring Alia Bhatt.
