New Delhi: Akshay Kumar released the trailer of his upcoming film Jolly LLB, which starts with an often repeated question, (not, Kattapa ne Baahubali ko kyu maara?) - Aap jaante hai Salman Khan Ki shaadi kab hogi? The first half of the trailer sets a light mood and infuses a sense of hilarity like the film's predecessor but the second half defines the purpose and plot of the film. Akshay Kumar stars as a small time lawyer, Jagdishwar Mishra (aka Jolly) in Lucknow, who wants to make a big name for himself in the field of criminal law. His dreams and passion are supported by his girlfriend Pushpa Pandey (Huma Qureshi).

It seems from the two-and-a-half minute clip that Jolly took a case and won, as a result he freed a criminal who committed a bigger crime leaving Jolly in a fix. The rest of the film's plot revolves around Jolly's struggle to find justice and set things right. In his fight for justice he's pitted against Advocate Mathur (played by Annu Kappor) who is prepared to resist every move planned by Jolly.
