Mumbai: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt admitted that she was "not happy" with how her last release Shaandaar fared at the box office, but she said that she doesn't regret doing the movie.

When asked about Shaandaar, Alia said here: "I was not happy, obviously. It was a clear no-show. If it's not a good film, then it will not do well, I will not say we made a good film and it didn't do well." (Also Read: On Alia Bhatt's Wishlist, a Film With This Director)

"Yes, there were problems. But, I will not blame anyone either. I will take full responsibility for it. When I signed the film, I did it happily and I still have no regrets. Now it has happened, so it's okay. Now I will work harder and move on," said Alia.

The movie was directed by Vikas Bahl, who also directed Queen.

Alia will next be seen in Dharma Productions' Kapoor And Sons with Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad khan.

"Working with Dharma Productions is like coming home. It's like a family to me. Karan (Johar) is a very liberal father. He is like my father and he gives me a lot of space. When I worked with Sidharth earlier, we were newcomers, so we were very nervous. This time we had a great time as I had a certain bond with him," said Alia.

Directed by Shakun Batra, Kapoor And Sons also features Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Kapoor. The film is slated to release on March 18. (Also Read: What Sidharth Malhotra Said About His Rumoured Romance With Alia Bhatt)
