Katrina captioned the image with the lyrics of the sing-along birthday song, addressing Anurag as 'dada'. Anurag has directed Katrina and Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming film Jagga Jasoos. A picture of Katrina, Ranbir and Anurag celebrating his birthday together is also being shared on social media. Jagga Jasoos, which was supposed to release on April 7 this year, has been now reportedly pushed to July 14. The film will clash with Saif Ali Khan's Chef and Shraddha Kapoor's Haseena now.

The film went on floors in 2014. As Anurag Basu wanted to re-shoot a few parts of the film, it got reportedly delayed. Katrina told DNA in a recent interview, "I think that Dada (Basu) is an eccentric genius, but a genius nevertheless. He has got a mind which has so many things going on inside of it that when he tries to vocalise to the person in front of him, most of the time they won't understand. He's got a large, complicated picture in his head and is only able to express a certain part of it. That's what I feel is under process. When it comes together, nobody can predict the outcome and it's not in our hands and not our job to, either."

In fact, Anurag put the delay in a meme that he shared on Twitter last week - both Katrina and Ranbir, who are seen as children (with their faces superimposed on children's bodies) on the 'first day of the film's shoot', become adults as they 'wrap up the last day'. Indeed it was a long time. Take a look.

Earlier it was reported that Katrina refused to promote the film. Refuting rumours, Ranbir, who is also producing the film, told news agency PTI, "Katrina has worked very hard on the film. The film is hers as much as it is mine. We will promote it really well and release it well too. When we make a film, we make it with lot of love and sincerity. We would like to put it across in the best way possible."

Anurag has teamed up with Ranbir for the second time, after they worked together in Barfi!
