Man arrested for threatening Pooja Bhatt on phone

The Bandra Police arrested a 28 year-old man from Pune for allegedly abusing and threatening Bollywood producer Pooja Bhatt on Saturday.

  • Yesterday morning, Pooja tweeted: "Just got a call from Abhay Shashtry, senior inspector Bandra Police Station, confirming they have arrested man who made abusive/threatening calls to me on January 9."
  • Mahesh, who also received a call from the same number which went answered as he was at a function in Hyderabad, asked Pooja to lodge a complaint yesterday. On Wednesday Pooja had also tweeted: "have been getting threatening/obscene calls from .....? The male voice, obviously inebriated, abused me and threatened to come over."
