Cute and filmy Bindu told Abhimanyu on their first meeting: "This will change your life." The introductory meet was followed by many such catching-up sessions over Samosa Aur Chutney, which is also the title of the first trailer of the film. Meri Pyaari Bindu promises to release five chapters from Abhimanyu Roy's book, in the form of trailers, one every day.

The first trailer is set in 1983 and doesn't really feature Parineeti Chopra but a younger version of hers, played by a child actress. Bindu arrives as Abhimanyu's neighbour and steals his heart effortlessly. Bindu and Abhimanyu become childhood best friends and partners in crime.
