Ranveer Singh at the web series launch event in Mumbai.
New Delhi:
It's not every day that Amitabh Bachchan decides to visit movie sets next door. And so when he dropped down recently on the sets of
Bajirao Mastani in Mumbai, he left Ranveer Singh rather overwhelmed with his "magnificent aura". Following which, Ranveer paid tribute to the Bollywood veteran in a unique manner (much expected, c'mon it's Ranveer).
Move over Peshwa Bajirao (Ranveer's character in
Bajirao Mastani), for the 30-year-old actor, who is known for his vibrant and quirky persona, took major inspiration from Big B's famous 1992 film
Khuda Gawah and arrived at an event dressed as Big B's character Badshah Khan from the movie.
Ranveer shed his Peshwa look and sported traditional Afghani attire instead, at a recent event and paired it with a colour coordinated turban and a grey jacket. He even sang a few lines of
Tu Mujhe Kabool, a song from the movie, and got the audience cheering for him. (Also Read:

Mr Bachchan was shooting for his television show
Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi on November 3, when he took some time out to meet the
Bajirao Mastani team - Ranveer, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and celebrated choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who too were filming in the vicinity. Big B shared a few images on his
blog, the same day:
Speaking at the launch event of web series and game
Blazing Bajirao, spin offs of his upcoming movie, Ranveer also mentioned that he wants to go "leagues above
Tattad Tattad" with his "bone-crushing warrior dance" sequence in
Malhar, a song with vocals by Vishal Dadlani.
Ranveer also explained why he thinks Deepika Padukone looks "hotter" with him than her
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani co-star and ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
Bajirao Mastani, which also stars Priyanka Chopra will clash at the box office with Rohit Shetty's
Dilwale on December 18, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
