Nawazuddin Siddiqui features in the short film directed by newcomer Rohit Pandey for Shorts

- Shorts is a bouquet of five short movies - Sujata, Epilogue, Audacity, Mehfuz and Shor - directed by Shlok Sharma, Siddharth Gupta, Anirban Roy, Rohit Pandey and Neeraj Ghaywan, respectively.
- Nawaz is glad to have worked with directors who have fetched Indian cinema international acclaim.
- "Initially, I did not have any choice and did whatever I got. But luckily then I got some different directors. They should be given credit as their films are being appreciated internationally and are also getting awards. Our cinema is now being taken seriously," the actor said.
- Co-produced by Anurag Kashyap-Guneet Monga, Shorts is slated for a July 12 release. The film's cast also includes Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, Vineet Singh and Ratnabali Bhattacharjee.
