Bollywood actor-couple Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan celebrated their 42nd marriage anniversary on June 3. And to make the day special in her absence, Big B wore a shawl gifted by Ms Bachchan, at an event to launch the teaser trailer of
Wazir.
"My wife is not here in Mumbai. She is abroad right now. And I wished her at exactly 12 am, " said Mr Bachchan, who still doesn't forget to wish his wife.
"Before coming here I was talking to her on FaceTime, but I told her, 'I was getting late for event, media is waiting for me, I have to go' and I quickly came here. I will go back and talk to her again" said Big B, making almost everyone gush over the love that he feels for his wife.
"I am wearing this shawl, which Jaya gifted me during the shooting of
Piku. This is something very special and only made in Bengal," said Big B, who was sporting a bright shawl instead of his usual beige one.
