Can you believe it? It seems like only yesterday that actor Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput got married - but it's already been a year. On their first wedding anniversary on Thursday, Shahid wished Mira with an adorable Instagram picture, which we can't get over. You too will not.
Shahid and Mira married on July 7 last year and are expecting their first child. Mira's due date is around mid-September
On Shahid and Mira's special day, we have hand-picked the best of their pictures shared on Instagram so far. Yes, yes, you are most welcome.
Shahid broke many hearts when he married Delhi girl Mira in the national capital last year. Soon after the ceremony, he updated his status with a selfie with his new bride.
Seven months into the marriage, Shahid shared this never-seen-before picture of the two when New Year arrived.
Clearly, Shahid's 'Santa' looks very different from ours. And she is so cute.
On Mira's 23rd birthday, this is how Shahid wished her.
In April, Shahid and Mira shared a glimpse of a drive they enjoyed and this is how it looked:
Just another selfie. We would love to see more.
Mira is Shahid's ray of 'sunshine.' They sandwiched Shahid's father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, in this picture.
Shahid and Mira took some time out from the celebrations at friend Masaba Gupta's reception party and were busy posing.
Shahid and Mira take their dinner dates very seriously. But first, a selfie.
Mira is indeed a very private person when it comes to social media. But we can rely on Shahid for pictures which find place on Mira's list of favourites. For example, a photobombed selfie from their honeymoon in London.
Shahid and Mira's wedding ceremony was followed by a reception party on July 12, 2015 in Mumbai where Mira was introduced to Shahid's friends from the film industry.
In an interview to The Times of India
in June, Shahid Kapoor said that he will take a break from work to spend more time with Mira. "Now, it is all about Mira. She is the one who is pregnant. She is very young and I think it is not easy. I just want to be with her, around her. Around the time the baby is due, I will not shoot for at least a month. I want to be there in the last few days of the pregnancy. I want to be there when the child arrives and enjoy these moments, as these are feelings you experience perhaps once or twice in a life," he said.
Shahid Kapoor, 35, was last seen in drug drama Udta Punjab
and will next feature in Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon
, co-starring Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.
