Pooja Bhatt, Husband Manish Makhija Split After '11 Glorious Years'

Actress-turned-director Pooja Bhatt announced on Twitter that she and Manish Makhija, her husband of 11 years, were calling it quits of marriage. Pooja, the eldest daughter of director Mahesh Bhatt, described the split as amicable.

Pooja, 42, tweeted:
 

To all those who care & especially those that don't my husband Munna & Me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage.

Pooja met former VJ Manish, once famous as Channel V's rustic Udham Singh, while shooting Paap - which Pooja directed and Manish acted in - in 2003. They married the same year in Goa.

Pooja, star of '90s hits such as Daddy, Sadak and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, is the half-sister of actress Alia Bhatt. She last directed Sunny Leone in Jism 2.
