Bollywood's current favourite export to Hollywood Priyanka Chopra, is back home after wrapping up commitments. Now, the actress will take a much-needed break. Priyanka, who is known to pack 48 hours in a day, said: "Yes, four days is what I have got. I will relax on a beach and meditate."
With two hits like
Dil Dhadakne Do and
Bajirao Mastani, and a television show
Quantico and now the forthcoming
Jai Gangaajal, is Priyanka creating a 'Priyanka Chopra slot'?
"That was never the intention. But it has happened that way. I don't like to be boxed or do things that are expected," said Priyanka.
So, is she anything like Alex Parrish from
Quantico? "No. I am a bit shy. Alex is forward and takes the bull by the horns," said Priyanka.
So, can she relate to Abha Mathur of
Jai Gangajal? "She is too honest. I tend to, you know, slip a bit," said Priyanka.
Well, she is certainly not Kashibai from
Bajirao Mastani?
"Not at all. I could not relate to her. But do realise that she was in the 17th century. She didn't have a voice. No one heard her. But today, if my husband was to leave me for another woman, I would say, please be my guest," added Priyanka.
So, with
Quantico getting an extension, is Priyanka hosting a chat show for the same network?
"No, I am not hosting a chat show. No more TV after this," said Priyanka.
"I love balancing work in both continents. But I am a Hindi film actor first. I love my work here," added Priyanka.
Well, at heart, she is truly a
