The first big clash of Bollywood took place on Wednesday when
Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and
Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil released together. Bollywood celebs are rooting for both films, which have opened to fantastic reviews. Amitabh Bachchan is the latest celeb to review the film. The 73-year-old actor, who has worked with Hrithik and Shah Rukh in
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, shared his opinion on both films on Twitter. He praised Kaabil and Raees and their lead actors too.
Amitabh Bachchan's review of Raees and Kaabil: Sanjay Gupta, the director of
Kaabil, recently made
Jazbaa with Mr Bachchan's daughter-in-law, actress Aishwarya Rai. The film tanked at the box office.
Raees and
Kaabil are battling at the box office. SRK's film won the opening day collection round.
Raees made Rs 20.42 crore while
Kaabil made relatively less - Rs 10.43 crore. The second day collection of
Raees were Rs 26.30 crore bringing the
total collection to Rs 46.73 crore.
Kaabil's
second day collection was Rs 15 crore bringing the total to Rs 25 crore, reported
Box Office India.
Raees, directed by Rahul Dholakia, also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Zeeshan Ayyub. The film chronicles the story of a bootlegger Raees Alam who struggles to expand his liquor business in Gujarat.
