New Delhi:
The film fraternity has banded together in aid of Akshay Kumar's new film
Rustom but this latest vote of confidence is the ultimate push an actor could hope for. Rajinikanth himself has wished Akshay and his film luck, in an epic tweet shout-out.
Late Wednesday, the 65-year-old superstar posted one of his rare tweets, addressed to Akshay.
An overwhelmed Akshay tweeted back:
We have been amazed by Bollywood's collective love for
Rustom.
It all started, when Salman Khan first urged his fans to watch Akshay's film. Ranveer Singh followed suit with a 'Chhupa Rustom' video.
Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha,
Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, all posted videos promoting the film. Fawad Khan's is the latest:
Rustom is a fictionalized version of the Nanavati case in which Naval Commander Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati was tried and acquitted for the murder of Prem Ahuja, his wife's lover.
The film, releasing on Friday, also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Esha Gupta, Arjan Bajwa and Pavan Malhotra.
