Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently in news for charging Rs 20 crore for his latest film Besharam, says money is something that should not be discussed in public

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently in news for charging Rs 20 crore for his latest film Besharam, says money is something that should not be discussed in public.
"Nothing disturbs me. It's the reporter's job to ask questions and it's my job to answer in the best way. Money is something which should not be discussed. It's personal and many people have their own takes," Ranbir Kapoor said.
"I read an article recently that I charged Rs 20 crore for my last film (Besharam) and it's embarrassing sometimes. You don't want to talk about your finances. It's very personal," he added.
Besharam, which featured Ranbir and his actor-parents, Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor, together on screen for the first time, performed poorly at the box office. But the actor says he will continue to work in the same way.
"I can only wait for my next release after every film. Whether it's a hit or a flop, I approach my film in the same way. I will continue to do so. How much a flop or a hit matters, I don't know. My parents have been acting for more than 30 years. They are happy that we worked together," he said.
