Actor Ranvir Shorey, who announced his separation from his wife of five years Konkona Sen Sharma recently, said that he still believes in marriage.
"This is about my recent announcement of separation. Yes, we have separated mutually. But I still believe in the institution of marriage," said Ranvir.
"I understand that because of my recent separation, this question is coming up (of belief in marriage). But I don't think the institution of marriage has anything to do with that. I only blame myself for that (the split)," added Ranvir.
The couple, who are parents to four-year-old son Haroon, shared the news through their respective Twitter accounts.(Also Read:

Titli, which is scheduled to release on October 16.
With reference to a specific dialogue in the trailer of
Titli -- 'Marriage is all about family plan' - Ranvir was asked about the concept of an arranged marriage.
"I don't believe in arrange marriage. My marriage was not arranged. But yes, I believe in family planning," said Ranvir.
Konkona and Ranvir started dating in 2007. The couple got married in 2010 in a private ceremony.
