Rekha: Am Glad I Became an Actress

Rekha says she originally didn't want to become an actress

  • The National award winning actress started her career as a child artist in 1966. Besides Khoon Bhari Maang and Silsila, Rekha was much appreciated for her roles in Khoobsurat and Umrao Jaan. The latter even won her the National Award for best actress.

  • "I kept getting roles, almost every kind of roles, thereafter, I continued to take it as a blessing," she said.
