  • A source told NDTV that the actor's fallout with the photographers occurred on the evening of July 11 at the launch of a song from Salman's upcoming movie Kick. The photographers were clicking pictures of Nargis Fakhri, but when Salman arrived, his bouncers didn't allow the paparazzi to take his pictures and also pushed and abused a few of them. A photographer reportedly broke his camera flash in the ensuing melee. Salman Khan reportedly commented after the incident, "If you want to work you work or you go," after which the paparazzi decided to boycott him right up till the release of his movie Kick.
  • However, another source told NDTV that it was the hotel's security personnel and not Salman's bouncers who misbehaved with the paparazzi. "Some of the photographers started abusing Salman's bouncers and Salman also heard them which is why he told them to leave if they didn't want to work," the source said. "After the incident, some of the photographers went to the police station to file a complaint against the hotel security, but there they reached a settlement. A new camera was provided to the photographer whose flash was broken," the source added.
  • Meanwhile, the photographers' union will reportedly take up the issue at a meeting today.
