New Delhi: King Khan is finally a graduate. Shah Rukh Khan received his college degree three decades late.

Shah Rukh arrived to a rousing welcome at his old Hansraj College in Delhi University on February 16, along with Fan director Maneesh Sharma, who is also a Hansraj alumnus.

Shah Rukh joked: "Since I had not collected my degree since 1988, they thought, chalo dete hain. They didn't find Maneesh's degree. So, we are not sure if he even passed college."

As he released the promotional video from his upcoming film Fan, Shah Rukh reiterated the fact that the song wouldn't be in the film and is just a video.

The actor plays superstar Aryan Khanna in the film as well as his crazy fan Gaurav. Shah Rukh admitted that he felt like a schizophrenic while shooting for the film.

"Maneesh would make me do stuff that I had done 20 years ago. And he would say, 'Arre, it's not the way it was then.' That's very unnerving when you know you have done it and you are doing the same and it's not good. Apart from that, you are playing two you's," said Shah Rukh.

Adding to that, Shah Rukh said that it was his dream to play a Dilli ka ladka and this was an opportunity sent from heaven. "I had forgotten my Delhi dialect," he said.

So who had he been a fan of?

"Milkha Singh, Cassius Clay, Charlie Chaplin, Bruce Jenner, who the world now knows as Caitlyn Jenner. I never thought that my daughter and I would know the same Jenner differently," Shah Rukh laughed.

"And of course, Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Mother Teresa," he added.

Fan will release on April 15. (Also Read: Fan Anthem: This Will Just Make You a Jabra Fan of Shah Rukh Khan)
