Shah Rukh Khan Shot Dilwale Despite a Broken Knee. Technology Helped

SRK's Dilwale releases on December 18

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan may be nursing a broken knee but that hasn't stopped the actor from promoting his upcoming film Dilwale. (Also Read: The Making of These Dilwale Action Scenes Will Give You Goosebumps)

While promoting his film in Mumbai, SRK was seen hopping from one interview to the other on an IO HAWK (Intelligent Personal Mobility Device), a mobile vehicle that looks like a scooter without a handle. The actor said, "I saw Justin Bieber using it during my visit to London recently and I thought to myself that this was 'perfect' for my broken knee. Now I can rest it and still move around. I have even done a song for Dilwale on an IO HAWK."

SRK had injured his knee while shooting for Fan earlier this year. The actor has had no time to rest with back-to-back shoots for Raees and Dilwale. Despite his injury, the making of the song Gerua shows the actor do the handstand in Bulgaria.

"But it's just my knees. My arms are perfectly OK," quipped the actor, who co-stars with Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in Dilwale.

"Even with that damaged knee he made sure that all our needs were taken care of and that we left the shooting venue before he did," said Varun.

He may be a superstar but looks like SRK is also a 'super' producer.
