New Delhi: The Aashiqui 2 couple Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor have finally wrapped the shoot of their upcoming film OK Jaanu, which had begun filming earlier this year. The entire cast and crew celebrated the wrap by cutting a cake and clicking pictures, followed by a party at the home of Shaad Ali, who is the director of the film. Aditya and Shraddha were spotted shooting for the last song of the film at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus a couple of days ago. The actors posted some cute pictures and selfies from the sets of the film. , produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is the remake of Mani Ratnam's 2015 Tamil blockbuster OK Kanmani, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon in pivotal roles.


 

OK Jaanu is slated to release on January 13, 2017. The plot of the film revolves around a young couple, played by Aditya and Shraddha, who deal with the issue of live-in relationships.


 

The film is Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's second project together after the 2013 musical hit Aashiqui 2. The film proved to be a turning point in both the actors' careers. Aditya had earlier expressed his excitement about working again with Shraddha and believes that OK Jaanu is the right film for a reunion.

Shraddha Kapoor's Rock On 2 with Farhan Akhtar released last month and Aditya Roy Kapur last appeared in Dear Zindagi with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. He also starred in Fitoor with Katrina Kaif in February this year. Besides shooting for OK Jaanu, Shraddha is also preparing for Half-Girlfriend opposite Arjun Kapoor, directed by Mohit Suri. Her other project is Haseena, helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, in which she plays Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parker.
