Mumbai: Actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who will be seen in Anurag Kashyap's Raman Raghav 2.0 alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal, said that she felt neither intimidated nor out of place in the presence of her co-actors.

"It's such a huge opportunity for me to share screen space with such good actors. They really lift you up and they inspire you by just being themselves. Not for one moment did I feel intimidated or out of place," Sobhita said in an interview in Mumbai.

"In fact, I got to learn a lot throughout the film. Even with Anurag sir, he is like a dream director to so many people that I feel really fortunate that in my first film I got this opportunity," she added.

Sobhita won the title of Miss Earth in 2013, and also featured on the Kingfisher calendar in 2014.

"Anurag sir is very specific about his casting. I had auditioned for it and within a week the shoot had commenced, so it was not that workshops or preparation could be done. It was all in the moment," she said.

"In fact, till the completion of the film, I didn't even have the script of the film. And when I had given the audition, I didn't know who the director was going to be. So, it was the best surprise ever," she said.

Sobhita plays the character of Simi in the film, and is seen in the song Qatl-e-Aam in a club with Masaan actor Vicky. She is appears in the unplugged version of the song.

Asked about her character, she said: "She has a lot of layers, emotionally and psychologically as well. There is a certain mystery around her but at the time she is very vulnerable and sensitive as well, but she doesn't show it. It is a very interesting character, very intriguing and stays with you."

"Throughout the shoot as well, I learnt to be very alert as a person, very aware as an actor. Everything was not choreographed and Anurag sir let me explore the character on my own. So it was a very thrilling journey," she said.

Raman Raghav 2.0 releases on June 24.
