This is what he shared on Twitter on February 22:
Neerja's brothers Aneesh and Akhil Bhanot have also thanked the makers of the movie in a video shared on Twitter by producer Atul Kasbekar on Monday.
Director Ram Madhvani said in an interview to PTI that Neerja's family had refused to give rights to make a biopic to several people before saying yes to his team.
"Atul Kasbekar initially spoke with the family. Before us, different people have asked them for the rights to make a film on Neerja. For some strange reason, they have said no to them, but they said yes to us. I think you should ask the family, as to why they trusted us, or why they had faith in us," said Mr Madhvani.
Earlier on Monday, Mr Kasbekar, who made his debut as a producer with the movie, shared a touching account of a survivor of the Pan Am 73 hijacking.

Musician Shekhar Rajviani, who turned actor with the movie, too had shared a picture of a USA theatre that lit candles inside the auditorium in memory of Neerja.
Sonam, who played the protagonist in the movie, found this thought 'beautiful':
Neerja Bhanot was killed while shielding a group of children on board the flight that was hijacked from Karachi on September 5, 1986, two days before her birthday. She also helped save 359 passengers, and was the first civilian and the youngest person to receive the Ashok Chakra, India's highest peacetime gallantry award.
