Hero has managed to mint a sum of Rs 13.47 crores over the first two days.
The opening day collection of the movie was not too impressive either, with a score of Rs 6.85 crores, while it was Rs 6.62 crores on Saturday. (Also Read:

The newcomers who star in the lead roles, have been supported by producer Salman Khan who took active part in the movie's promotion and had also turned mentor for the star kids. He has even sung the title song

Sooraj is the son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, while Athiya is the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty and Mana.
Hero is a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 film of the same name which stars Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri in the lead roles.
