Student Of The Year Turns Three. Karan Johar is 'Proud'

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar, whose film Student Of The Year completed three years on October 19, said that he is proud of actors Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan who made their debut with the film.

Student Of The Year revolves around two friends Abhimanyu and Rohan played by Sidharth and Varun respectively. However, both of them fall in love with Shanaya, played by Alia and that's when things take an ugly turn.

Karan is currently filming Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.(Also Read: This Actor Will Play a 'Special Role' in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil)

On the other hand, Varun will be seen in Rohit Shetty's film Dilwale co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Kriti Sanon, which is scheduled to release on December 18.

Meanwhile, Alia will soon be seen in Shaandaar (also produced by Karan's Dharma Productions) co-starring Shahid Kapoor, which will release on October 22. Alia will also be seen with Sidharth in Kapoor and Sons, another KJo-film, which also stars Rishi Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
