Filmmaker Sajid Khan, who had directed
Housefull and
Housefull 2, chose to step out of
Housefull 3 himself, says producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
"Sajid Khan didn't want to direct
Housefull 3 because he was busy with
Himmatwala at that time. Besides, this is a difficult genre to write also," said Sajid Nadiadwala.
"After sometime, they also say that we don't want to because the genre gets saturated. So, it becomes difficult to edit and make a trailer for this film. Usually, a writer, after one or two films gets into a saturation mode," added Mr Nadiadwala.
Housefull 3, featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Lisa Haydon, has been directed by Sajid-Farhad.
Housefull 3 is scheduled to release on June 3.
