Superstar Salman Khan's much awaited Sultan has released today. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is a story of an Olympic award winning wrestler who struggles and finally wins to resurrect his lost glory.
The film also stars Anushka Sharma as a wrestler and Salman's love interest.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has still not apologised for having compared himself to a "raped woman" when asked about filming Sultan. He responded to a summons from the National Commission of Women last Wednesday with a lawyer's letter which did not contain an apology. He has been summoned again on July 8.
On Monday, Aamir Khan branded Salman's comment as "rather unfortunate and rather insensitive." His was the first piece of unqualified criticism from a top star, coming as it did in the wake of Shah Rukh Khan who last week begged off from offering an opinion.
Produced by Yash Raj films, Sultan also stars Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh.
