New Delhi: In May this year, days after Salman Khan was convicted in the 2002 hit-and-run case by a Mumbai court, actor Shah Rukh Khan revealed the first look of Salman's new film Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Twitter. On December 11, 24 hours after Salman was acquitted by the Bombay High Court, he returned the favour by tweet-endorsing SRK's upcoming Dilwale.

Salman, 49 going on 50, tweeted a shout out to the Rohit Shetty-directed film and attached a preview video from Dilwale in a separate post:

The actor is accused of drunkenly driving over pavement dwellers in September 2002, killing one. Salman issued this tweet on Thursday evening after the High Court ruled that he could not be convicted on the basis of the evidence produced by the prosecution:

Now, it seems that it's business as usual.

The High Court's decision concludes what has otherwise been a blockbuster year for Salman. His films Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo made over Rs 500 crores at the Indian box office between them. Salman, who will be 50 at the end of this month, is currently filming wrestling movie Sultan.

Meanwhile, SRK's Dilwale, also starring Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is expected to end 2015 with a bang, clashing at the box office with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Bajirao Mastani, starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
