Hollywood star Sean Penn and his fiancee Charlize Theron have reportedly split, after being together for nearly a year and a half.
Charlize, 39, and Sean, 54, who got together in December 2013, are apparently living separately and have called it quits, reported People magazine.
According to sources, Charlize and her three-year-old son Jackson are living in their Hollywood home, while Sean is staying in his Malibu mansion. The actor had put up the mansion for sale, but recently pulled it off the market.
Sean and Charlize also reportedly backed out of an event which they were scheduled to attend together. Soon after that, Charlize headed to London for the shooting of
The Huntsman.
The couple were last seen together on the Cannes red carpet in May. But in recent weeks, they had not been spotted together at all. Sean was spotted solo in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles recently, purchasing magazines and cigarettes from a local newsstand.
However, representatives for the stars have not commented on the split. Meanwhile, Charlize had raved about her partner to British Elle, calling him the "love of my life."
