Los Angeles: Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly reuniting on Thanksgiving despite their divorce and custody battle. The estranged couple's six children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 are begging their parents to spend Thanksgiving together as a family, reports okmagazine.com. "Shiloh has been begging Brad and Angelina for weeks to start being nice to each other. Then she sent them both an emotional email asking for the family to spend Thanksgiving together. She let them know that it was what the kids were hoping for," said a source close to the family.

According to the source, Angelina, 41, called Brad, 52, and invited him over for a family holiday dinner. "It was a totally aboveboard conversation. He thanked her for the invitation and she said, 'I think it'll be good for us'," the source said.

Brad will be bringing the turkey as he "wants the kids to feel like it's the old days, like they're a family again." The reunion will only be a "two-day truce."

"This split is as contentious as ever but Brad and Angie know the kids need the security and stability right now. They're both going to have to dig very deep. Brad's incredibly apprehensive about the thought of meeting Angelina face-to-face. But he'd put up with almost anything for the chance to spend Thanksgiving with his kids," said the source.

Angelina, filed for divorce from Brad on September 19, and requested sole custody of the kids. All six of their children-Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 15, Pax Jolie-Pitt, 12, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 11, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 10, and twins Knox Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 8-will remain in Angelina's custody but will continue "therapeutic" visits with their father.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married back in 2014 and were first romantically linked back in 2004.
