Hugh Jackman Shows up at Wimbledon in Best Blackbeard Style

Hugh Jackman Shows up at Wimbledon in Best Blackbeard Style

Hugh Jackman looked fearsome as he watched the Wimbledon Men's Singles Final

Highlights

  • The Royal Box at Wimbledon was packed with, umm, royals and celebrities of every sort ahead of the Men's Singles Final between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic but those tennis fans seated close to actor Hugh Jackman were probably wishing themselves elsewhere.
  • For Hugh, normally the dishiest of Hollywood hunks, looked altogether fearsome.
  • The Wolverine star is currently filming Joe Wright's Peter Pan prequel in which he plays the dastardly pirate Blackbeard and looked suitably lethal even at Centre Court, with shaved head and Blackbeard's black beard. He was dressed in a regular suit and wore sunglasses but they did little to improve his terrifying appearance.
  • Wife Deborra-Lee Furness took it in her stride as she sat next to her husband.
  • Also seated in the Royal Box were Prince William and Kate Middleton, actor Bradley Cooper, David and Victoria Beckham who sat next to Samuel L Jackson, and tennis legend Boris Becker.
