Actor Matt Damon is back with a vengeance in the official trailer of his
upcoming action spy thriller film Jason Bourne.
The sequel, which releases on July 29, teams up Matt Damon with director Paul Greengrass, who helmed
The Bourne Supremacy and
The Bourne Ultimatum.
It's been nine years since Jason Bourne appeared on the big screen. The upcoming installment marks the fifth film in the franchise after
The Bourne Identity,
The Bourne Supremacy,
The Bourne Ultimatum and
The Bourne Legacy.
"We've been hacked, could be worse than Snowden," an operative warns at one point in the trailer.
In another scene, Matt Damon plows through traffic on the Las Vegas strip.
The action film also co-stars Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones.
