New Delhi:

Opinion is divided on Neil Patrick Harris' performance as Oscar host. We're going to reserve judgment on whether it was legendary or not - hey, you can't have a pizza party every year - and, instead, just let you make up your own mind. Here are the top Neil Patrick Harris moments from today's Oscar show. (Also Read: Passionate Speeches, But Few Surprises)

1. Opening zinger: He cut to the chase right at the start with a jibe at the 'all-white' Oscars - "Tonight, we celebrate Hollywood's whitest, sorry brightest." This was followed by a song-dance number called 'Moving Pictures' in which he was joined by Anna Kendrick dressed as a princess and briefly by Jack Black.

2. In a second dig at the lack of diversity, NPH had Selma star David Oyelowo help out delivering the punchline to a joke because 'everything sounds better with an accent.' As the crowd clapped, NPH quipped, "Oh sure, now you like him," referring to Mr Oyelowo's absence from the Best Actor nominees list.

3. This happened. He went on-stage in his underwear, in a 'Michael Keaton in Times Square' moment.

4. When spying scandal documentary CitizenFour won Best Documentary Feature, he quipped, "Edward Snowden couldn't be here because of some treason."

5. He joked about Oprah: The eight Best Picture nominees brought in $600 million, and American Sniper is responsible for $300 million of that. Put it to you this way: this half of the theatre are the other seven nominees, American Sniper is Oprah. Because you are rich (looks at Oprah)."

6. He joked about John Travolta: "Benedict Cumberbatch: it's not only the most awesome name in show business, it's also the sound you get when you ask John Travolta to pronounce Ben Affleck."

7. Twice: "Next year, Travolta will be back to apologize for all the face touching."

8. He joked about this film: "Some of the movie titles this year confused me. Like How To Train Your Dragon 2. That title just basically admits that the first film did an insufficient job of helping people train their dragons."

9. He joked about these celebrities: "Robert Duvall, every five minutes, please wake up Octavia Spencer. Eddie Redmayne, every five minutes, please wake up Robert Duvall."

10. He joked about himself: "He's easily the most well-adjusted child star in this room. Please welcome... Jason Bateman."

We don't know if he used that joke Ellen DeGeneres says she told him, or if any of the aforementioned were it. What's your verdict on Neil Patrick Harris, Oscar host? Tell us using the comments box below.
