Star Wars: Benicio Del Toro Confirms he is The Force Awakens Villain

"Star Wars is coming up, we will see how that turns out. I think we start shooting in March," he said and when asked what would his role be, the actor only gave few details about it. "Ehhh, the thing is that they don't let me talk too much about it. I'm like the villain. But we'll see," he said

Guardians of the Galaxy star Benicio Del Toro seems to have confirmed that he will appear as a villain in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In a recent interview with Spanish radio station Rac1 (via Star Wars: Episode VIII News), he talked about the possibility of appearing in the upcoming Star Wars film.
Benicio Del Toro, 48, was asked about his upcoming work schedule. The actor then said that he would be soon working on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and added information about when the principal photography would commence. (Also Read: Is That Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber in New Star Wars Teaser?)

Back in July, the actor was reportedly eyed by Lucasfilm and Disney to fill a villainous role.
There have also been rumours about various actresses who are in a contention to be the female lead in The Force Awakens. Among them are Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany, Gina Rodriguez and Olivia Cooke.
