New Delhi: "Without sacrifice, there can be no victory" echoes the trailer of Transformers: The Last Knight, which released to much fanfare on Tuesday evening. The two and a half minutes long video is a montage of intriguing snippets from the upcoming film. In the humans vs alien robots saga, Team Machine inhabiting earth to fight fellow antagonist aliens and save Earth from any possible disaster, appear crumbling. Autobot Bumblebee lies dysfunctional while frozen Optimus Prime floats across the universe. The universe sums up to 1000 billion trillion planets but 'Why Earth?' is the question Transformers: The Last Knight attempts to answer. Also, the trailer hints at - except the unexpected.

"Two worlds collide but only one will survive" - a voice narrates as Mark Wahlberg and Team take position with huge guns, special forces, commandoes and super advanced machinery. Bumblebee continues to fight till is destroyed (or so it appears) by the master antagonist, leader of Decepticons - Megatron.

Along with Mark, Stanley Tucci also reprises her role in the fifth Transformers movie.The fifth in the Transformers franchise of films, The Last Knight also stars Laura Haddock and Anthony Hopkins. Director Michael Bays returns to helm Transformers: The Last Knight and is slated to hit screens on June 23, 2017.

The Transformers gamut of films made its debut with Michael Bays 2007 film, and continued with 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, 2011's Transformers: Dark of the Moon and 2014's Transformers: Age of Extinction.
