New Delhi: Aati Kya Khandaala? If Khandaala doesn't appeal, no matter. You don't have to travel that far to listen to Aamir Khan's voice because the 51-year-old actor will be singing as well as rapping a song for his wrestling drama
Dangal.
The song has been composed by Pritam and has lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Pritam has also composed music for the film. Apart from training for two weeks, Aamir has also been rehearsing with Amitabh and Pritam to ensure that the song turns out absolutely perfect.
We already know Aamir can sing. He previously sung a few lines for his songs like
Aati Kya Khandala from
Ghulam,
Iss Deewaane Ladke Ko from
Sarfarosh and
Mere Haath Mein from
Fanaa. But that was more of
sher-aur-shaayeri and now, we are impatiently waiting for Aamir's special
Dangal song.
Dangal chronicles the story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his journey as coach to his daughters Geeta and Babita. Aamir Khan plays Mahavir Phogat while Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra star as Geeta and Babita respectively. Sakshi Tanwar plays his wife.
Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and co-produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur, will release this Christmas.
