The new song from Tamasha is the sum total of its parts - a musical log of Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor's Corsican adventure.
In Safarnama, Tara and Ved, the characters played by Deepika and Ranbir, frolic through fields, stroll through pebbled alleys and speed across the island landscape in a car. Times are happy, mostly. (Also Read: Deepika Padukone Doesn't Abuse But Had Fun Doing So in Tamasha)
But all good things must come to an end and so does Tara and Ved's romantic sojourn and they carry with them the memories of loss.
Safarnama, composed by A R Rahman, is sung by Lucky Ali with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
In Tamasha, Deepika and Ranbir meet in Corsica, and following a holiday fling, fall in love with each other. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film hits screens on Friday.
